ANNET NYAKWADA / PROJECT COORDINATION

I turn frontline needs into coordinated action.

I’m Annet Nyakwada. I bring a systems-minded, people-centred approach to project coordination: listening for the real need, connecting the right people, and helping turn ideas into workable action.

At the John Howard Society (September 2021–July 2023), I supported clients in rehabilitation and helped develop three programme initiatives with a close colleague and our manager’s approval. That experience shapes how I approach communication, safety, and delivery.

02 / EXPERIENCE & APPROACH

Calm coordination in complex settings.

Alongside a caseload of six clients, I tracked medications and budgets. After training and certification, I served for six months as Hearthstone’s Occupational Health and Safety lead, supporting crisis-response training and workplace safety for colleagues.

I bring a systems-minded approach: understand the need, connect the moving parts, involve the right people, and help deliver a practical response. I’m completing the University of Alberta’s Project Management Certificate and pursuing project coordination and project management opportunities.

03 / NEXT CONVERSATION

Ready to bring structure and care to what’s next.

I’m seeking project coordinator roles and opportunities to grow in project management. Reach me at nyakwadaa@gmail.com.
